Nine food stalls destroyed in Teluk Kemang fire

SEREMBAN: Nine food stalls located in front of Teluk Kemang Square, Port Dickson near here have been destroyed in a fire.

Teluk Kemang fire station operations commander Senior Fire Supt Mohd Kamal Mohd Timar said that firefighters arrived at the location after being informed of the fire at 7.16pm on Saturday (Nov 11).

"All nine wooden stall, measuring 10 by 10 sq feet each, were burnt, four of them totally destroyed, while the other five sustained 25% damage.

"No casualties were reported and the cause of the fire, along with the losses sustained, is still being investigated," he said in a statement.

He added that firefighters were still conducting overhaul work at the site. – Bernama
